This web site is dedicated to the loving memory of Ruth Margaret Camplin-Akright and Ora (Red) Vernon Akright, the parents of my wife Marilyn Kay Akright-Dinkel  and her sister Nancy Jean Akright-Davis.
  Although Ruth and Red were challenged in life they had a very deep love for each other that carried them through each and every crisis that came along. The love and devotion that they shared has been carried on by their two loving daughters Nancy and Marilyn.

 *Sherry Butler whose notes from her research into the Camplin family has helped  to fill many holes in the original information that I obtained from  rootsweb.com and ancestry.com which were the main sources of my research. *Bill Akright for the extensive work that he has performed with his Personal  Ancestry File (PAF) which I have used for a lot of cross referencing of the  previously mentioned sources.
 *Bernice Akright-Smith who helped with identifying so many members of the  Akright family in pictures that were dated in the early 1900's.  She also had a  tremendous amount of data that was used for cross referencing.  *Peggy Bowser-Scheidegger who helped with a lot of date corrections and  pictures of the Ida Akright-Bowser family.
